Prof. MUDr. Martin Haluzík, DrSc. is the head of the Diabetes Center and head of the Laboratory of Translational and Experimental Diabetology and Obesity at IKEM in Prague. He is an internationally recognized expert and has received numerous Czech and international awards for his extensive clinical expertise. As part of the HX Scientific Council, Professor Haluzík oversees protocols in the fields of endocrinology, diabetology and metabolic health. It is precisely the area of metabolic health with a focus on prevention, early diagnosis and targeted interventions that lead to improved metabolic flexibility and the prevention of insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes and related complications, which is also one of the pillars of the HX program and a key factor for optimizing health and fully utilizing the body’s potential and vitality.
