Doc. MUDr. Martin Vyhnálek, Ph.D. is a neurologist at the 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University and Motol University Hospital. He focuses on cognitive decline and neurodegeneration, from hereditary cerebellar ataxias to the earliest biochemical signs of Alzheimer’s disease. His research has been published in journals such as Alzheimer’s Research & Therapy and Journal of Neurochemistry, connects scientific findings with everyday clinical care and maps the borders where risk becomes measurable. As part of the HX Scientific Council, he creates the clinic’s neuro-preventive approach, in which he aligns genetics, sleep, vascular health and cognitive training so that cognitive risks are caught early and memory, attention and acuteness are maintained for as long as possible.
